The Problem
People who have dogs find it difficult to keep
track of their dog's health.
Such as treatments, vaccinations and
appointments to the vet.
The Solution
​An easier way tracking of treatments, vaccinations and medical data of the dog, and an easier way to set up an
appointment to the vet.
Market Research
As part of my research I conducted a competitive analysis of medical application of dogs and medical application of humans,
to check if this may suggest any solution.
Maccabi
​Maccabi healthcare services app that allow to set up an appointments,
to view laboratory tests, to submit requests to and from the doctor etc.
Great Pet Care
Pet health tracker app for medical records, feeding instructions, reminders, and even photos for multiple pets.
Clalit
​An app of Clalit healthcare services that allows the user to track his health by treatment’s history, set up an appointments and more.
​Conclusions from my market research:

Some apps offer you the option to chat with the doctor.

In most of the apps, it was possible to set up an appointment to the doctor.

​There is the option to add multiple profiles in most of the apps.

Some applications features the ability to view treatments, vaccinations and test results.
User Study and Persona
During the user study I wanted to explore the main pain points for the users, so I interviewed men and women aged 22-55
who have one or more dogs.
Top issues that came up during my interviews:

​Respondents who have more than one dog said that it's hard to keep track of everyone's needs.

​Most respondents testified that it can be difficult to track the list of vaccinations and treatments of their dog.

​Some Respondents said that it can be exhausting to set up an appointment to the vet over and over again by call phones.

​Shira spends most of the day at work, and in her spare time she plays with her dog, Toy.
Toy sufferers from an heart disease and as a result he is constantly losing weight.
Shira finds it difficult to track after Toy's treatments and weight so she uses Dogtor that helps her to track after Toy's health.

About the screens
The dog's health data is available to use on the homepage to allow quick and easy access.
By clicking on the health data, the user will be able to view the dog's data and be able to change the time ranges for accurate tracking.
In addition, the user can access the dog's treatment screen from the tab system and once there he can view all the dog's treatments and vaccinations.
